Some Facts 'n' Figures about the

>>>> >>>  IMPORTANT  <<<<<<<

It is absolutely necessary for your Care Need Level to be assessed and approved by a recognised Assesment Service before entering a Rest Home in New Zealand.

Maranatha is a BAND 2 REST HOME taking people up to
LEVEL 3 care.   It is NOT a hospital.

Established in 1959 by the Maranatha Fellowship Trust, the Home has proved a peaceful haven for elderley folk in their declining years. The Trust is made up of Christians drawn from Open Brethren Assemblies from the South of New Zealand.
Anyone, regardless of their religious affiliation is welcome and would need to be comfortable with the Christian Character of the home.

Philosophy

As a Christian Home for the elderly, Maranatha, (sometimes spelt Maran-atha,) operates as a family in the Lord's care, dedicated to provide warm and loving support, with respect and dignity in a peaceful and happy environment.
